Dystany Spurlock Racing has been busy behind the scenes wrapping up 2022 and also preparing for the 2023 racing season. Motorcycle drag racing is a fast- moving and ever-changing environment, and we wanted to keep all of you up to speed as to where we are and off to next.
2023, Our program has decided to pursue some other ventures, so I will not return to pilot the Hollywood Drag Racing Pro Ultra 4.60 motorcycle for the ManCup series. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity and will always be thankful for the wealth of additional knowledge I now take forward. I'd like you to please stay tuned for the upcoming schedule for this and other series.
2022 was a fantastic year for my program as we competed in the ManCup's Pro Ultra 4.60 program sponsored by Hollywood Drag Racing. We showed up and performed exceptionally well. We came up short in the points but secured a 2nd spot. The talent in this class is extremely high, so I'm pleased that our program ended the 2022 ManCup season where it did.
2022 XDA series, we did not finish where we would have liked, but we would like to thank XDA and Vance and Hines for having such an incredible 4.60 class! We must recognize HTP Performance for sponsoring the XDA Super Stock class. Super Stock is yet another motorcycle class that has some highly talented racers. We were shy of the top-ten mark in overall season points. When you look down that list of names, it is incredible to see my name listed right there with them. Our program growth in this class is heading in the right direction, so I'm thrilled with how we performed in 2022.
Dystany Spurlock Racing is excited to be returning with this additional experience for the 2023 HTP Performance Super Stock season but also the Mickey Thompson Tires Top Sportsman XDA class.
Dystany Spurlock Racing Fans are the best, and we love and appreciate every one of you. Also thank you to my fans, family, friends and sponsors/partners for always being by my side. We are passionate and are extremely tough on ourselves sometimes, but then we take a break and see your messages, comments, and support. We find ourselves smiling in the middle of it all.
